Analysis of Costs & Benefits Associated with Implementing SIF Report
A Study Completed for the Schools Interoperability Framework Association

Released June 5, 2006 - The results of The Schools Interoperability Framework Association's (SIFA) study, conducted by Educational Systemics, reveal costs and benefits school districts realize by implementing SIF-based data interoperability. The benefits include increases in student achievement, available funding, and improved student services. "[SIF] makes NCLB make more sense. It improves curriculum and instruction. It also brings operational efficiencies to the district," states Joe Kitchens, Superintendent of Western Heights Public School District in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
