May 22-24, 2006, Alderwood Elementary School's 5th Grade classes attended Mountain School. Mountain School is a nationally recognized environmental education program offered by North Cascades Institute in cooperation with North Cascades National Park. The children worked hard to raise the funds for their trip with the support of their teachers - Mrs. Engle and Ms Mueller, their parents, and the community.
